What band did you discover in 2011 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?
I'd have to say that band is Alice In Chains. It's a band I've grew up hearing, but this year was the year that I've really started digging into their discography and listening to all of their albums. I've become obsessed with the song Nutshell lately and can listen to that song on repeat for hours. That song alone just gets to me and can both ruin and make my day.
How will you remember 2011 (in terms of music)?
2011 was a big year for Expire. We signed with Bridge 9 and embarked on our first ever European tour.
What can we look forward to from you in 2012?
Our debut LP on Bridge 9 will be out sometime in the spring of 2012 which will most likely be followed up by us hitting the road hard to support it.
What records are you looking forward to most in 2012?
Looking forward to a debut 7" from our buds in Bent Life, The Promise Ring is back together, and I'm crossing my fingers for a Suburban Scum LP.
What did you expect to be huge in 2011 which never made it?
I think Most Precious Blood released a pretty good record this year and I really wish they would've toured on it, but nope, nada.
