April 9: Riot Grrrl Day in Boston

With Kathleen Hanna (The Julie Ruin, Bikini Kill) scheduled to play in Boston at the Wilbur Theatre, Boston mayor Marty Walsh has proclaimed April 9 as “Riot Grrrl Day.” Stereogum has the details here.
