Sydney Festival returns for 2019

The annual Sydney Festival is due to return from 9th-27th January 2019, including theatre performances, art installations and a diverse musical lineup including:

Orquesta Akokán, a 13-piece mambo band direct from Cuba; South African neo-soul singer and queer icon Nakhane; American art-pop composer Julia Holter; Ethio-jazz musician Mulatu Astatke and the free festival concert Sydney Symphony Under The Stars.

There are also exclusive performances of Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho's work, Neneh Cherry's Four Tet-produced album and much more. Visit the official site for more information and the full program.
