Beartrap (Mike Assatly)

What are your top five albums that were released in 2009? (In order 1-5)

  1. Touche Amore - To the Beat of a Dead Horse

  2. Punch - Punch

  3. Make Do and Mend - Bodies of Water

  4. Mother of Mercy - III

  5. Debaser - Rich White Boys

What band did you discover in 2009 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?

I finally checked out Lemuria after seeing their name a lot for a while. Nothing life changing, but one song related to a situation I went through in my life that sucked, so that was cool.

How will you remember 2009? (In terms of music)

Pop punk is cooler in hardcore than hardcore.

2009 was a huge year for reunions. What reunion excited you the most? What band that has not reunited would you love to see play/record most in 2010?

Blink 182. As for bands I'd like to see reunite in 2010: Blood for Blood, Operation Ivy, and At the Drive-In.

What can we look forward to from you in 2010?

A lot of touring, and some weird sized records

What three records are you looking forward to most in 2010?

If The Hope Conspiracy does a record that'd be tight. I don't know what else would be coming out next year. I hope for the best.
