A new spoken word LP that features musicians reading the works of Edgar Allan Poe will release on Oct. 18, shortly before Halloween. The collection, form Shimmy-Disc, is titled Edgar Allan Poe - To One in Paradise (for Hal Willner), and features contributions from Lydia Lunch, Thurston & Eva More, Eric Mingus, Allen Ginsberg, and more, all with accompanying music by label head Kramer (Ween, Butthole Surfers, Half Japanese, more).
The record is dedicated to Kramer's late friend, Hall Willner (1956-2020).The first single comes from Lydia Lunch, "Dreamland."
