DIY punk filmmaker's book about life on the road

Jak Kerley (Shibby Pictures) has written a new book, covering the challenges of DIY touring from his perspective as a touring filmmaker focused on music videos and documentaries while touring with bands. The book discusses punk houses, squats, cultural centers and various international adventures from a life on the road.

The book is titled Didn't Get Much Sleep Last Night: My Life As A Touring DIY Roadshow and is available today, Nov. 17. A release party celebrates the book at The Ukie Club in Philadelphia, PA, here Kerley is joined by bands Apes Of The State, Whitney Flynn, Matt Pless & Elephant Jake.

Kerley has worked with Days N Daze, Grumpster, Mischief Brew, and many others.
