Don't you love finding new punk bands? I sure do, which is why I was stoked to find out about New Jersey's One Win Choice who have just put out a new 7" with five adrenalizing new songs. There's not really a lot to say about this band because they sound very similar to a lot of other melodic hardcore bands out there (Strike Anywhere, Bigwig, Shook Ones) but for what they do, they're very good. Define/Redefine is full of anthemic punk jams that will probably be a big hit in the scene for a while. Rough vocals, heavy guitarwork, and a somewhat catchy sound will give you a good idea of what to expect with One Win Choice. It's a shame that this EP is so brief, because with it being only five songs and a little over twelve minutes long, it's practically over before it starts. Still, for what it is, Define/Redefine is a solid EP and definitely worth a try if you're into melodic hardcore.
