Face Reality – Positive Change — Dead End, 2009

It's nice to see in 2009 that's there is still youth crew hardcore bands out there. Face Reality is from Michigan and play fast hardcore with plenty of fun breakdowns. The vocals remind me of Ray Cappo with a cold. Musically it's a cross between Ten Yard Fight and The First Step. The lyrics are positive and on the straight-end tip but thankfully nothing about killing drug dealers. If you still yearn for the days of big black x's on your hands and stagediving with your hood up then Face Reality is the band for you. Personally, I can never get enough of this stuff.

On their latest five song statement, Bombay’s Pacifist sound fully aware of the lineage they’re working within, and just as aware of how much effort it takes to keep those ideals alive … Read more

Pure Intentions is a hard hitting punk band first emerging in the Chicago scene in 2020. During that time, these guys have spread their gritty sound by touring the United States while gaining a strong following along … Read more
