The Divine Punishment is the first release I personally heard. I was intrigued by the introduction and explored future outpourings with bated breath. She is a truly unique person and performer and becomes highly recognizable upon hearing her. There is only one Diamanda-the true queen of darkness and intrigue. Some may see her as a possessed wailing witch but without dark you can not understand the light. Dig deep and explore her vision and celebrate the pain, intrigue, and challenging lyrical output while bathing in sounds that are of other-worldly connections
