Released last year, The Lovecraft Sextet describes album The Horror Cosmic as the "soundtrack to a yet to be created movie." As a whole the album explores an infinite nothingness, a perfect theme from a project named after horror writer H.P. Lovecraft.

To delve deeper into the project, The Lovecraft Sextet comes from Jason Köhnen of Mansur, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation. The Horror Cosmic is its fourth release.

Today, we're excited to debut a new video from last year's LP, "Deliverance."

"'Deliverance' videoclip was an experimentation with AI prompting to generate experimental lovecraftian forms. In that sense it was a positive outcome resulting in an eerie surreal cosmic," Köhnen shares. "All in all the visuals mix well with the song and this specific technology is very useful for creating abstract imagery."

It certainly captures the mood well, finally fading into static nothingness at the end.

The album officially released on October 27, 2023 via Denovali Records. Buy it here.
