German Punk/hardcore gang AXIDS drop video for new high energy, punk rock meets the wizarding world, play on words track "Axidpelliarmus". Shot in their familiar DIY style in a basement/studio space. It's not overly complicated but playful, much like the band themselves. Comments from the band regarding "Axidpelliarmus" say "this is where energy meets groove, Hogwarts meets world events". Pointing out that they have never been dumber, yet been more revelvant.
This has all come about as AXIDS and Oregon, USA band Knelt Before will be releasing a split mini album called Split Screen which is due for release on 28th June with "Axidpelliarmus" being the opening track. This collaboration has been three years in the making which considering the distance between the two bands is no mean feat and from this the two bands have struck up a great friendship. Split Screen encompasses the parallels and differences as both bands grew up with similar pop culture, video games and punk rock.
