The reformed Live Skull are heading on a US tour in September.

The New York 1980s noise-rock group reformed in 2019, after a 30 year hiatus, lead by founding guitarist/vocalist Mark C and drummer Rich Hutchins, the last drummer of the group in their 1980s run.

The new lineup has released two albums, Saturday Night Massacre (2019) and Dangerous Visions (2020), joined by Kent Heine on bass and Dave Hollinghurst on guitar/vocals.

At one time contemporaries to Swans and Sonic Youth, the band drew its early influence from British post-punk, adding a distinctly Manhattan element.

Tour dates:

Sept 20 - Pittsburgh, PA @ The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls
Sept 21 - Chicago, IL @ The Hideout
Sept 22 - Minneapolis, MN @ 7th St Entry
Sept 23 - Lincoln, NE @ Lincoln Calling Music Festival
Sept 24 - Kansas City, MO @ Record Bar
