Later this year The Melvins and Redd Kross will embark on a 10-week tour, joined by Shitkid, for the full run.

“Redd Kross and ShitKid are two of my favorites. We’ve already done fantastic European tours with both of these bands so I know bringing them out with us on this trip will be a total mind blower for the lucky fans,” The Melvins' Buzz Osborne says of the tour lineup.

Bassist Steven McDonald plays in both groups and Melvins' drummer Dale Crover will also play with both bands for the tour.

In related news, Redd Kross are prepping a new record at the momtn, and Ipecac Recordings has announced vinyl reissues of the Melvins' The Maggot and The Bootlicker albums.
