Post-hardcore band War from a Harlots Mouth have announced an upcoming "indefinite hiatus" after 8 years and four full-lengths as a band. The group most recently released Voyeur last November.

While thanking many in their official statement, it also offers this hint as to their break-up:

The scene we're a part of used to be an inspiring subculture but has turned into an abortion of mainstream accessibility, with choreographed stage moves and cute little matching outfits. It's frustrating to witness and really makes it less fun to go out and play with new bands sometimes. However, this is not a breakup, it's a hiatus. Sooner or later we might find the urge to come back and slay!

The band has a few live dates remaining (after the jump).

WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH tour dates
8/24 - HERZOGENRATH, DE @ Roda Rock Festival
12/30 - BERLIN, DE @ Magnet Club
