Post-rock/metal hybrid Back When have announced their breakup. The band last released We Sang as Ghosts in 2005. The band issued this final statement:
After six years together, we have decided to call it a night. The four of us are still most definitely friends. No nasty fight. No bad breakup. It was just our time. There will be no last show. In a final goodbye, we are finishing our video for our recently recorded song, 'Golden.' This should be completed in the next month or two and we are excited to show the final product. Thank you to Justin, Travis, Jeff and Keith for their past contributions. And thank you for listening, coming to shows, dealing with cancellations, giving us places to stay and loving music as much as we do.
