West Virginia hardcore outfit Holden Caulfield have announced their breakup and final show. The band will play their farewell show on August 30th in Huntington, WV. The band issued the following statement:
After 8 years, on and off, Holden Caulfield is calling it a day. Why? It's just that time. Everyone has other things going on, both personally and musically, so it seemed like a good time to let it go (rather than dragging it out). As much as any of us hate to do it, we thought it was the right thing. Nick is still playing with Down Goes Frazier, Jared is playing in Hand Of God, Bobby and Dana started a new band called Shields Up!, and Josh is going to be starting something really soon as well.
