Nightmare Of You Part With EastWest

Posted by Michael on April 17, 2007

Indie rock group Nightmare of You have parted ways with EastWest Records. The band issued the following statement:
As of today, April 17, 2007, Nightmare of You and our respective Bevonshire Label have left our old home at EastWest and are free to explore the best options for the future of the band. Our forthcoming album will NOT be affiliated with Sire Records nor will it suffer from the poor distribution our debut endured. We are very lucky for this freedom to explore the "right" options for us since most contractually obligated bands can end up crippled by a lack of both passion and resources. We have been hoping for this for quite some time now and for it to finally be the reality of our situation is both liberating and motivating. As soon as we find a new home for NOY, surrounded by intelligent and passionate people, you will all be of the first to know. Thank you again for your continued support and patience. Hopefully now with this change of events we can move swiftly into the studio and deliver you our proudest work yet. To you we raise our glasses and toast a frothy adult beverage. Luv Ya.
