Scene Point Blank Gets An RSS Feed!

Posted by Matt on January 6, 2006

You asked for it, so we added it! That's right, SPB has jumped (slightly late, admittedly) on the RSS bandwagon. "But what is RSS?" our uncultured readers cry. For the answer, we must consult Wikipedia:
RSS is widely used by the weblog community to share the latest entries' headlines or their full text, and even attached multimedia files. A program known as a feed reader or aggregator can check RSS-enabled webpages on behalf of a user and display any updated articles that it finds.
If you're using Firefox (which SPB fully endorses), you'll see a little orange icon in the corner of your address bar. Click this now, and you can add the SPB RSS feed to your bookmarks, so you can see our latest news with a single click. If you prefer to use your own software to read RSS updates, then you probably already know the drill, so the URL to the feed is http://www.scenepointblank.com/home/rss.php. While we're on the subject of the site, the year-end feature, with SPB's top 30 of the year (as well as the usual extras) is on its way, so fear not.
