A new festival, the T1 Festival, will run on NOvember 8-9 in Joliet, featuring several Illinois punk bands playing to raise funds for the JDRF, (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). The event was organized by Jim Costanzo who was inspired after his nephew was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. The two-day event features several notable names, including Brendan Kelly, Flatfoot 56, Smoking Popes, The Lillingtons, 88 FIngers Louie, The Brokedowns, Dan Vapid & The Cheats, and more.
