10 Years of Parquet Courts

Posted in Shows on November 10, 2020

The lack of live shows has changed how band's are celebrating milestones this year, be in for new record release parties or anniversaries. Parquest Courts is no exception -- the band will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Dec. 10 with a livestream and retrospective on Dec. 10.

With a catalog consisting of five full-lengths, plus even more EPs and single, the band will host "On Time" to mark the anniversary of their first show. The event is to be filmed live at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, NY, located near Monster Island -- which hosted their first show on Dec. 17, 2010. The event will be a mix of live performance, archival footage, interviews, and more.

To build the hype, the band has shared "Hey Bug" from their 2013 Sunbathing Animal sessions. Stream 'er below.
