Neko Case, Margaret Cho, Judy Gold, and more femme-identifying musicians and comedians will gather for DO RE #METOO on Oct. 6, a concert event where the artists will reclaim various sexist songs from the pop culture canon. All proceeds will benefit Abortion Access Front, a reproductive rights nonprofit founded by Lizz Winstead (co-founder of The Daily Show). This is the event's fifth consecutive year. Previously performed in New York, Chicago, and Minneapolis, it is streaming for the third straight year.
“If you’re still laughing, then you still have hope” and as a co-creator of “The Daily Show,” Winstead says of the event.
