Showcasing music from every corner of this earthround – not at all merely limited to Blues - on the Easter long weekend close to the beauty that is Byron Bay, Bluesfest serves as the forum for over two-hundred performances over five full days, framed in a context of artisanal food offerings, bars and markets.
The line-up for the 2019 instalment, which marks the 30th anniversary of the festival, has to be read to be believed as the range and quality of acts that will channel their alchemy is of a scale that is hard to rival – see details below.

Having revolutionised R&B during the ‘70s, twisting soul music into Funk by adding influences from several late 1960s acid heroes such as Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa and Sly Stone, it is hard to imagine modern music without their input and impact on shaping and changing it.
