Rhea Sylvia
Deathwish Inc. (2018)

Thou, in this particular rendition, throw down great song thud after thud, right on the table, while permeating a delicate scent through their carefully constructed EP, Rhea Sylvia. Each song is a steamy dish, smelling like Tool, Starkweather, and Isis mishmashed together. The vocals have a Maynardish-Alice In Chains chest voice, a Starkweather scream, and a shimmering lead guitar tone. … Read more

Relapse (2016)

The story of Tombs has been nothing if not turbulent. Line-up changes have been a constant issue with the band, but they have not affected their music in a negative manner. Today they return with the beginning of another chapter in their discography, and their most daunting line-up with the … Read more

One Question Interviews • February 7, 2015

Thou SPB: What is your favorite part about the recording process? Andy: Overdubs, without a doubt. James Whitten, our recording guy/sound guru, is really good at helping us create outlandish sounds that end up sitting way back in the mix. I sometimes wonder if people listening to our records even … Read more
