The extravaganza that has firmly established itself as a highlight on the festival calendar in the Southern hemisphere, i.e. Electric Gardens has announced its descent onto Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Adelaide from 18 – 27 January, 2019.
Spearheading the 2019 incarnation will be the duo Rick Smith and Karl Hyde that comprise the seminal outfit Underworld, which not only because of their presence on the Trainspotting soundtrack and the opening of the 2012 London Olympics but because of their solid repertoire prove to be a more than adequate successor to Fatboy Slim, who headlined 2018’s Electric Gardens.
Underworld will be joined by Erick Morillo and the headlining troika will be completed by UK’s house and techno export Eats Everything.
As in previous years, there will be an array of opening acts gracing the production that T1000 events has become loved for - momentous sound, light and vision to the luscious green venues that Electric Gardens usually inhabits.
