Sentimental Ward
Recess (2016)

It’s nice when your favorite bands surprise you. It took six years for Fambly 42), so I wasn’t ready for Sentimental Ward yet (though apparently it’s already been another four years). Fambly 42 acted like no time had passed and the same holds true here, on Toys That Kill’s fifth full-length release. The four-piece continues playing off kilter pop punk … Read more

Butter Knife
Suicide Squeeze (2013)

Matt (Audacity) SPB: As a California band, what do you think of winter touring? Matt: Touring in winter can be very exciting. People appreciate the fact that you drive through bad conditions to hang out and play with other bands. That being said, we have been stuck in -33 degree … Read more

One Question Interviews • January 3, 2014

Ryan Woods (High Dive/Defiance, Ohio) SPB: After playing in a larger band (in terms of # of people in the band), how is it to tour with a 3 piece? Woods: This is a perfect question for High Dive. In fact, we started the band with the purpose of traveling … Read more
