body / negative, the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Andy Schiaffino, will release its third album later this year. The new record is called Everett, with a release date scheduled for Dec. 8 via Track Number Records.
Expect diverse sounds that are rooted in lo-fi with shoegaze and ambient tones running adjacent to more experimental elements. The lead single, "Persimmon," is built on Schiaffino's guitar, with additional guitar courtesy of Justin Maranga (Ancestors).Midwife also contributes on three of the eight tracks on the album.
