New High on Fire forthcoming

Posted in Records on March 7, 2012

High on Fire will be releasing De Vermis Mysteriis (or "Mysteries of the Worm") on April 3 via eOne Music. The 10-song affair, recorded by Kurt Ballou (Converge), promises to be "direct, eye-opening and powerfully supernatural," and follows 2010's Snakes for the Divine. The album takes its name from the Cthulhu Mythos and builds on that theme.

Starting June 30, High on Fire will join with Slayer, Anthrax, and more for the 2012 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour, covering 26 cities over the summer. A tracklisting for the new record and tour dates are listed below.
