Mr. T Experience announces first LP in 12 years

Posted in Records on September 20, 2016

The Mr. T Experience (MTX) have announced the relase of King Dork Approximately, out Oct. 4 as an exclusive download with the paperback puchase of the novel by the same title, authored by MTX frontman Frank Portman. A vinyl release will follow sometime in 2017.

Portman denies it's a reunion, stating instead that,  “We never did go away. With the collapse of the music industry, during the release of our last album in 2004; it made it very difficult to fund recordings and at the time I embarked on a successful literary career.”

The new album is their first to be released on a label other than the now defunct Lookout Records. The band will be playing select shows in October-December across the United States, including two December dates with the reunited Nobodys.
