John K. Samson working with Weakerthans members on new solo album

The AV Club is streaming "Postdoc Blues," a song from the forthcoming John K. Samson solo effort Winter Wheat, due on Oct. 21 (Anti- Records). The new album sees Samspon reunited with The Weakerthans' rhythm section.

Samson released Provincial in 2012 and The Weakerthans last released Reunion Tour in 2007.
