Partial Traces has announced a new 8-song full-length called Wild Surf/Quiet Blues, their third full-length, slated for release on July 30 via Sainas Records.
The band, split between New York and Minnesota, wrote the album over distance before converging at Terrarium studio to record with engineer Jacques Wait.
On the new album, the band moves darker with a more synth-based sound while Maren Macosko's and Annie Sparrows' voices float over the arrangements, the band says.
