New Silent Era song, new Silent Era record

Silent Era are getting ready for the Sept. 15 release of Rotate the Mirror, sharing the title track with listeners now via The Fire Note. The band has also open preorders this week, aproximately 6-weeks before the record releases courtesy of Nervous Intent Records.

Playing "darkly melodic" punk, the band takes its name from the fact that vocalist Michelle (ex-Brilliant Colors, The Slits) had been in multiple bands (playing multiple instruments) but had never sung. The group also features former members of Deskoncidos, Sacred Shock, Neon Piss, and The Grumpies.
