Laura Jane Grace Takes Out the Adventure Club

Laura Jane Grace will release a new album with a new group of punks labeled The Trauma Tropes. Adventure Club will be available July 18th via Polyvinyl Record Co. Grace was recently invited to Greece to turn a century-old poem entitled "Walls" from Greece's Constantine P. Cavafy, into a song for a documentary about inmates learning to express themselves through film. Through the Onassis Foundation, Grace and wife, Paris, were linked with locals Jacopo Fokas and Orestis Lagadinos to form Laura Jane Grace in the Trauma Tropes. The result was Adventure Club -- a "12-song collection exploring the archetypical hero’s journey tropes from classic Greek mythology: love, war, trust, betrayal, virtue & vice, iced coffee drinks..."
