Self-described "sharkcore" band ChumHuffer shared a new single today, "Burning," one of five songs on the upcoming new 7", Slaughterhouse Five. Sharkcore is defined as the band's take on punk meets hardcore meets surf. The new EP comes out on the band's own DWY Records in May.
“The song is about fighting the loop of insanity, realizing when you're stuck in the same patterns and the frustration of breaking free,” vocalist Shawn Refuse says in a press release. “It’s a reflection of personal battles but also speaks to the collective experience of anyone who feels trapped by their circumstances.”
