DC punk project Sutras is back, sharing an EP last year and now following that up with a new full-length called The Crisis of Existence.
The band, featuring Tristan Welch (guitar/vocals) and Frederick Ashworth (rhythm section), balances powerful rhythms with lush and loud guitar, "ferocious and dreamlike" in sound, the band says, while tackling themes of heartbreak, addiction, and mental health.
It releases on April 16 as a self-released digital album with a limited cassette via Tomb Tree.
