Art punk band Perennial is back, sharing the title track fo an new EP this week. The EP comes out on April 4 with 5 new songs. It was inspired by the "between album" EPs of the 1960s.

Directly, the band says, "Perennial trying to write the 15th track for Rubber Soul...We wanted something with a bit more of that Maximum R&B groove." To keep the theme going, it also features a cover of The Kinks.

The band, who released Art History in 2024, features a new drummer Ceej Dioguardi, and the EP also includes remixes by Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie) and Cody Votolato (The Blood Brothers).

They play at SXSW next week. Read a year-old interview.

track list:

1. Perennial ‘65
2. All Day And All Of The Night (Kinks Cover)
3. Tiger Technique (Cody Votolato Remix)
4. Up-tight (Chris Walla Remix”)
