April 11 is the release date for Delicate Machinery, the debut album from Unstable Shapes, which will release on Learning Curve Records.

The band draws influence from '90s post-hardcore and noisy alt-rock such as Unwound, Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Lungfish, and Les Savy Fav, stating, "We can make a bit of racket but always maintain a heavy emphasis on keeping melody parallel to the noise."

The lineup includes vocalist Andrew Cahak, guitarists Mitch Gustafson and Ryan Jaroscak, bassist Kevin Hurley (also of The Great Went), and drummer James Taylor (also of LAAMAR).
