Recorded in early 2002 prior to the release of Mondo Medicale, Impaled will soon share Demo Medicale with the world on April 11, courtesy of Tankcrimes.
The Oakland, CA area band used the demo to test tracking and order, and added "Raise the Stakes" to the final album later, thus it is not included here, while “Gross Anatomy” and “Choice Cuts” later made the Choice Cuts EP (to fulfill a contract with Necropolis Records).
The recordings were shared with guitarist/vocalist Sean McGrath, drummer Raul Varela, and bassist/vocalist Ross Sewage by ex-guitar player Andrew LaBarre, who shared them in 2022 shortly before he passed away due to health complications from ALS.
Thus, Demo Medicale is released in tribute to LaBarre.
