Late last year, Idle Heirs -- featuring Sean Ingram (Coalesce) and producer Josh Barber -- teased a song with news of a record in 2025.

Now we have details, as the duo will release Life Is Violence on April 11 on Relapse Records.

The Kansas City based project recorded the album in the Pacific Northwest in an isolated studio that allowed them to focus on disconnection for society and an ear for details.

The lead single is "Rare Bird," which takes flight below.

Idle Heirs live:

Feb. 07  Philadelphia, PA - Subterranean Dissonance Fest
Feb. 08  New York, NY - TV Eye

Life Is Violence track list:

  • Loose Tooth
  • Rare Bird
  • Jaded Mountain
  • Lemonade Stands
  • Dim Shepherd
  • Pillow Talk
  • Dead Ringer
  • Momma
