Two-Man Giant Squid began as a bedroom project from Mitchell Vinokur, since growing four additional tentacles to become a 5-member band, set to release a self-titled record in early March. The record comes out on March 7 on Mint 400 Records, with the band sharing "Weird Recordings (You've Got Some)" from the LP earlier this week. The lineup is now Vinokur, plus Yan Kogan, Robbie Sawyer, Sam Borges, and Brendan Jones.
Post-punk is a decent starting point to describe the band's sound, but it expands beyond that format in a number of directions.
The new album is the third overall from the project.
