Bob Mould has just shared "Here We Go Crazy," the lead single from what will be the former Husker Du and Sugar vocalist's fifteenth solo album. The new album shares the same title and releases on March 7 via Granary Music/BMG.
The lineup for the album features Mould on guitar/vocals, plus drummer Jon Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy.
“On the surface, this is a group of straightforward guitar pop songs. I’m refining my primary sound and style through simplicity, brevity, and clarity, “Mould says of the new album. “Under the hood, there’s a number of contrasting themes. Control and chaos, hypervigilance and helplessness, uncertainly and unconditional love.”
Mould last released Blue Hearts in 2020. He goes on tour on April 1.
