Horror themed punk 'n' roll band Electric Frankenstein will soon see the release of Reanimated Rock, a new collection of cover songs by the band (covers new and old), pieced together with a single theme. The record comes out on Reptilian Records (US) and Sounds Of Subterrania (Europe).
"Whether exhumed from graves, rescued from obscurity, or simply revived, these classic rock, metal, and punk tracks are reanimated by the relentless rockers and collected in one place. The record features the band’s renditions of tracks from the likes of Alice Cooper, Ace Frehley, Black Sabbath, The Cars, Reagan Youth, The Dead Boys, and more. Recorded by different lineups of the band, the record features performances by rhythm guitarist Sal Canzonieri, original vocalist/lead guitarist Steve Miller, bassists Dan Canzonieri and Bill Gill, and drummers John Steele Gavula and Rob Sefcik," the press release tells us.
