The latest album from DCxPC Live is out on Nov. 2, when the label is set to release Volume 27, a split LP featuring Killed By Florida and GoatRope, two heavy southern hardcore bands, both recorded live at Uncle Lou's in Orlando, FL.
Killed By Florida is very alive on this record, with some well-placed jabs at Florida politics in between heavy and meaningful tunes.
"Killed By Florida have been wanting to record a live album for some time, and after buying a few of the DCxPC albums we decided that there wasn’t really anyone else we wanted to record us beside Danger Room Recording and have it put out by DCxPC," the band says.
Flipping the proverbial wax, we also get a set from another Florida-based band, GoatRope. A little heavier and a little more melodic, there are too many "shares members with" names to list here. GoatRope tells us, "When asked by KBF to do a live split album we only had one question: Will there be enough beer at the venue? The answer was 'hopefully.'"
Listen and decide for yourself.
Preorders are available from the label beginning Oct. 7.
