Liberation Hall record label has another live reissue on the way when the label will release 999's Emergency At The Old Waldorf 1979, featuring the band's then lineup of Nick Cash, Guy Days, Jon Watson, and Pablo LaBritain, recorded in San Francisco approximately 45 years ago. The recording will release on LP, cd, and digitally on Oct. 18. It includes six bonus tracks in addition to the live recording.

The band formed in 1976 and released their self-titled debut album in 1979, the same year as the recording. They are still active today, having played at Punk Rock Bowling in May and with a UK tour later this year.

The label notes:

Emergency at the Old Waldorf 1979 was recorded, mixed and produced by Terry Hammer on July 2, 1979, during the second of two sets at the Old Waldorf. Several tracks were immediately aired on Hammer’s local radio show on KALX, but the entirety of the show has been archived until now. In addition to Cash’s liner notes, music journalist Bill Kopp also contributes a booklet essay detailing Hammer’s significant contribution to the San Francisco music scene.

It will be distributed by MVD Entertainment Group (USA) and Wienerworld (UK).
