Kim Deal (The Breeders, ex-The Pixies) has announced her first solo album, which will be titled Nobody Loves You More, coming out on Nov. 22 on 4AD. The first single is a good indication of how this album differs from previous projects, as "Crystal Breath" is a wall of distortion built on pulsating electro-like beats. The recordings took place over a range of time from 2011 to 2022. Some were recorded by the late Steve Albini and the list of collaborators is long and impressive, including Breeders past and present (Mando Lopez, twin sister Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson, Britt Walford), Raymond McGinley (Teenage Fanclub), Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs), Fay Milton and Ayse Hassan (Savages).
As with the previously shared "Coast," each song has a distinct story behind it.
While Nobody Loves You More is Deal's first solo album, it is not her first solo project. In 2013 she released a five-part, ten-song 7" series.
