Bayside's Anthony Raneri goes country

The big music publications keep telling us that country is the new big thing. We're not sure what's popular, where, but we do have some country-adjacent news for you.

Anthony Raneri, best known as the vocalist of Bayside and currently residing in Nashville, TN, has a new EP out later this year that carry a distinct alt-country touch. The lead single "Bones" plays country with a perhaps gothic touch, one of 7 songs on Everyday Royalty, out Nov. through Equal Vision Records.

“The idea behind Everyday Royalty is that greatness can exist anywhere and in anyone,” Raneri says of the title. He previously released Sorry State of Mind in 2015.

Sept. 11, 2024 update: Raneri will be touring in support of the album. Dates are shared below.
