Beautiful Rat Records will release a new split EP on August 14, with three songs from The Northaven and Subtle Places, both based in Massachusetts. The EP is titled Refurbished and also includes covers of Bright Eyes and The Front Bottoms.
The Northaven is a folk-punk solo project from Ian Garland (Circlebrooke/Solvent C) while Subtle Places are an indie rock band. The Northaven has released Post Pandemic Blues in 2023, while Subtle Places last released Angelic Rose & Branch in late 2022.
