Earlier, Hellcat Records announced the signing of California quartet The Calamatix. Now the band and label have an update -- and a new song. The band shared "Love, Lies & Alibis,” which will appear on the band's self-titled debut due on Sept. 20.
The band play a contemporary take on Jamaican ska and rocksteady classics, beginning as a songwriting project between vocalist Raylin Joy and Rancid vocalist Tim Armstron. The new single, below, was written by Joy along with Armstrong, Lil Aaron (Machine Gun Kelly, Demi Lovato, Lizzo) and Albert Hype (Bad Bunny, Kali Uchis).
