From Northern Michigan and formed in 2016, Melodic Canvas returns with a new album, Discoloration, available on July 18 via Setterwind Records. Discoloration feels like an apt title for the grungy band and their lead single, "Image Noise" (below).

“'Image Noise' was written as a means of escape from the virtual world of social media and the modern day of hyper consumable content," songwriter Evan Alderton says via press release. "It's about being overstimulated by the constant state of bombarding noise and distractions that our screens give us day to day and finally being able to encapsulate the feeling of having enough. The video will hopefully capture the essence of that feeling.”

Shows:

June 22nd - Bay City, MI - Coven
June 23rd - Detroit, MI - Lager House
June 29th - Ferndale, MI - Pugfest
July 21st - Bay City, MI - Bemos
July 26th - Detroit, MI - Reware Vintage
