Signals Midwest frontman Maxwell Stern has a new solo record out on August 9. In The Good Light is Stern's second solo full-length, coming via Lauren Records.
The lead single, out now and shared below, is "You Deserve A Great Love," described as the central point for the new album. The song itself draws inspiration from Tom Petty's "Wildflowers."
Comparing In The Good Light to 2020's solo predecessor, Impossible Sum, the new record is described as "more of a band record." Collaborating musicians include Adam Beck on drums, Jon Hernandez on guitar (Timeshares), and Ian Farmer on bass (Slaughter Beach, Dog, Modern Baseball).
