Votive, an Austin, TX hardcore band of scene vets, has announced Towards the Pillory, a new one-sided 12" out July 12 via No Funeral Records. The band "play a caustic and aggressive variety of emotional hardcore, drawing from classic screamo, crust, emoviolence, d-beat, and mathcore," No Funeral says, with a lineup of Kyle Rotta (ex-Gas Up Yr Hearse!), Rohan Lilauwala (Respire, ex-Foxmoulder), Blake Given (ex-Portrayal of Guilt, ex-Lyed), and Eli Deitz (Porcelain, ex-Shitbag).
They released Wilting EP last year, and just shared a new video this week too:
